‘How do we know what we know?’: Learning to question what we think and know. Experience and learn to create a safe space for dialogue and enquiry about global issues and perspectives focusing on 1) critical literacy 2) different perspectives on knowledge 3) independent and informed thinking 4) enquiry skills.

Extended suggestion: the OSDE module on knowledge would be especially relevant here. Andy R has produced a draft OSDE module specifically for use with activists (different perspectives on activism) which might also fit in well.
