Hello everyone,

Thanks for a profound and inspiring knowledgelab. We're so enthused that we've been talking non-stop about all the ideas raised and how we can keep pushing forwards! This is a bit of feedback and ideas we had - what do YOU think?

• Integration between 'activists' and non-activists – this was what we felt to be the main problem/opportunity area that got opened up this weekend. We'd like to explore this more at the next one. • Does successful activism require/imply social and community work… building the positive strand of activism such as pro-community/nature as well as the negatives – anti-capitalism etc? • We noticed that splitting into smaller groups gave everyone confidence and a chance to speak. • Maybe a music workshop would be cool at the next one? People could each bring a track which has particularly influenced them – for whatever reason – and play it to the group for discussion in order to find new ways of accessing our 'knowledge'. • Maybe this could be part of a media-sharing stream – books, websites, music, art, theatre etc… • Would it be interesting to explore alternative ways of living like alt-medicine, healing, therapies, veganism, squatting…? • How about a networking forum at the end of the weekend where information/ideas on projects, campaigns could be shared? • A big ideas board/room where we can stick up thoughts and questions (with name under them as option so others can open a conversation with them) throughout the weekend – we could all have post-it notes to take into sessions with us. • Adrian, Jill… we talked about expanding the 'burn-out' and solidarity sessions – any ideas?

A CALL OUT TO ALL GEEKS - information processing – ways to incorporate this within discussions – Dante suggested developing a computer program which allowed a mind-map to be created during discussions – it could be as simple as a screen to which you could add text boxes containing ideas which link to other text boxes… Anyone interested?

There's more, but maybe we should ease off a little, we don't want to bore you. What thoughts have people had? It would be great if we could keep this big crazy ball rolling…

Yes, music workshops! Yes! I hereby volunteer to do one where everyone brings objects and then we all use them to make sounds then at the end we jam an improvised piece and record it. Everone gets a CDR afterwards. Any takers?
