A discussion, based on personal/political experiences, about three things:
a) the way that who does the caring and who gets cared for in our society is totally influenced by issues of class, race, gender, age, and all the other things that I imagine you are aware of
b) the role of the state in the provision of social care
c) what political action would be appropriate to deal with the way that people get treated who are dependent on the state for their care.
